Just a completely gorgeous building going up on Queen St. West. Will take a few years to build but ground has broken already.
🌟 New project alert! Ground has broken on the new #masstimber building for The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)

👉🏼 With 385,000 sq. ft. of space, this 7-storey building will be Canada’s largest hybrid mass timber public facility once completed.

Recently finished reading the Plastic Man mini-series and I really enjoyed it! I have a real soft spot for Plastic Man, and he's been handled inconsistently over the years at DC. Have to say it was the amazing Allred cover that reeled me in... 1/2

The girl is home for the holidays from Uni and suggested we all watch Arcane together which she loves. We're on to Season 2 now and I have to say it's fabulous. BEAUTIFUL, original animation, great story, terrific characters. Recommended! It's on Netflix. www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/arcane_le...

View out of upstairs window. We’re supposed to get 60-70cm and I think we might get that. The roads are super dangerous- stay home if you can! #ldnont #onstorm

Another find from Villains comic store sale in London, Ont. Limited, edition signed double-sided Jeffrey Brown print I found in the bottom of a box. They didn't know they had them! Probably could buy for a $1. They had about 10 copies! I have never seen this before in my life.

Love to see this, especially my local councillor- @samtrosow.bsky.social and 3 other #ldnont councillors. Would like to see more added to the list.
Almost 70 Ontario Councillors have now signed onto a letter rejecting the use of the notwithstanding clause to clear encampments. And municipalities are agreeing with them — including the local Council of Smith Falls, ON which has rejected the use of the clause. lanarkleedstoday.ca/2024/11/20/1...

Why don’t people talk about how great comic artist Daniel Acuna is? The guy is fantastic. I buy everything he does. His latest work on Avengers Twilight is solid as usual. Loving it. Let’s give him some love!

Still filling in the Toth gaps in my collection. Was really happy to pick up this beat up copy of Hot Wheels this weekend. I find they’re hard to come by in the wild. I didn’t have any of the issues. Look at that art. The sound effects!

Saw it a few days ago and enjoyed it. Iman Vellani is charming - I loved the Ms Marvel show. She and her family steal the movie.
The Marvels was a rip roaring time and laugh out loud funny. Totally go see it.

Hello fellow bsky friends! Twitter is a hellscape and I'm looking for a place that was like the good old days of Twitter where comic friends would show their work, talk about comics they love and cool purchases they made. This seems to be it!
