Game #11 is Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which was a tie in to Valhalla. A smaller scoped AC game (20 hours compared to a gajillion for the big ones). It was solid enough to see me through to the end but definitely not my favorite in the series. I played on gamepass.

Game #10 is Pentiment, another Obsidian game, but very different from Avowed. This is an adventure game set in 16th century Germany, with the art style of a period book. Story kept me guessing, didn’t feel like there were right answers, left me thinking about life more than expected.

Game #9 is Minami Lane, a brief but charming little Japanese street simulator. Was over quick but left me wanting more, which is a good sign.

Also on gamepass.

What the heck, my mother in law got junk mail from Sound of Freedom weirdos and is this just a rip off of the American Tale song lyrics? 😬

Spent the last two days volunteering at Salty Sea Days in Everett. Final band of the night was a Lady Gaga tribute band, which was a blast. Logged 24 miles on the Apple Watch and petted all of the dogs that I could! #saltyseadays #everett

Big shout out to whoever planted this tree, really coming in clutch right now on this toasty July day #everett #saltyseadays

Haha, reminds me of this attack I got in the mail back in 2018 (spoiler alert he won)

Game #8 was a random surprise in Spray Paint Simulator. There's a lot of similarities with Power Wash Simulator in terms of the mechanics but ultimately I think this is a less demanding and more chill time. Made me wish real life had a "click to mask" option. Another gamepass option.

Game #7 is Avowed

Started this up on a whim and got totally sucked in. I hadn't really played anything in the Pillars of Eternity world before but Obsidian did a great job with this. Good story, enjoyable companions and a really neat setting to explore.

Another great gamepass option

If you ever randomly find yourself in eastern Washington the chukar factory sells bags of misfit chocolate covered cherries for cheap (also their chocolate honey pecans are amazing)

First Costco food court with Coke products I’ve seen in the Seattle area. This one is up in Marysville. #costco

Managed to beat Lucky and Wild today at Ground Kontrol, what a fun experience from an arcade game I’ve never seen before! Like final fight but in a car with guns?

Game #6 is Atomfall.

Another random thing I looked at on Gamepass and got sucked into, this seems like a British take on a fallout game in all the best ways. Having an openish world, multiple factions and lots of discovery was a great time, I 100% completed this but there's DLC on the way.

Game #5 is Crime Scene Cleaner.

Just randomly stumbled across this on gamepass and turned out to be a remarkably chill game considering the content. Picking up bodies, cleaning up broken stuff and making places look good as new is quite satisfying

Really just a neat day for old Japanese cars in Lake Stevens

This camo kei truck I saw today in Lake Stevens looked great!

Old San Juan is rad as shit, feels like I’m walking around Europe in the best of ways.

Game #4 is Galacticare

I loved Theme Hospital back in the day and this is a theme hospital style game but set in space. The levels are varied with interesting challenges. I played through the campaign (but didn't 100% every level) and had a good time.

(played on PC via gamepass)

Game #3 is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Started this in 2024 and finally got around to finishing it here recently playing through the last few levels. I'd say probably in my top 3 Indiana Jones things of all time. Was suspicious of first person Indiana Jones but worked out great!

Game #2 is Open Roads

Saw this was leaving gamepass soon which bumped it up on my priority list. Was a short (1-2 hour) walking simulator which was decent. If it's still in gamepass definitely a quick finish.
