PikaProgress Update: 95% complete.

Under 2000 stitches to go. I can see a few spots on Pikachu that I want to fix, but I’ve promised myself I’d finish this thing before I went back to fix things I hate. I’m so close!

It is 95% complete, so we can see Brock’s legs, Pikachu’s head down to the bottom of his mouth, so we can see his eyes, nose, both of his red little cheeks, his mouth, and a lot of out of focus bushes in the background. This is done on 28ct fabric, so it’s made of very small stitches, over 34k in total (once it’s done).

I wouldn’t normally update so soon but those five tiny stitches in the bottom left corner represent THE BOTTOM of this project! I’m so close to being done.

The final plea PAPERWORK was manipulated to pick just one victim -- and his lawyers made sure they chose the oldest one so that it didn't look so bad. But I do think by color would be difficult given the sheer number of bricks we have. This isn’t a brag, I bought the kid sooo many sets over the years because it was the one thing that could keep him busy. This isn’t even all of them.

This is just one of many times I have regretted organizing and binning our bricks by size.

This is one of his smaller creations.
A whole bunch of flat Lego bricks that are stacked at least 4 high, and made into basically a 4x6 inch plate. The banana is for scale.

He’s playing with his Lego bricks. And breaking one of them. He stacks all these thin bricks on top of each other and then struggles to get them apart.
