When I lived in Ireland with my hubby's family, they went all out and the entire family went to my hubby's sister's for dinner. I don't like large gatherings like that, but at least there was no fighting like my family growing up lol Still, I preferred a quiet Christmas and that's not Irish 😂

I am sure you had your own unique way of making the holidays tolerable. My kids were just different than my friend's children. My kids make mistakes, they're not perfect, but they do honestly have big hearts and try to do the best they can. I am sure you did the best you could. 💚

Some of us try to be unique, but others definitely want to stay the same as everyone else and their little coterie. I prefer seeing the individualistic nature of people, rather than the herd mentality.

I loved Star Trek. I loved it so much that I had to watch all of the spinoffs. Well, one of them I just couldn't get into. Enterprise wasn't my cuppa, but I loved the rest.
