@romgothsam.bsky.social group got me into online watch-parties during lockdown. Great fun. I started running them for students - Bake-Off, Drag Race, etc.

One of my happiest memories of uni is several of us piling onto one girl's bed (while she was in it) to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer each week. The girl in question hated the show but her room was the agreed communal TV room!

I saw electrical box/ alarm on the wall in a palace in The Tudors. But otherwise that show was exemplary for rigorous historical accuracy in every detail.

Obviously struggling to choose between fighting Sauron in Middle Earth, vs all the blazing family rows she could kick off in Valinor...
