I absolutely loved the details of scavenging a horse carcass, and the frame of dead rats. This is the stuff I care about - not whatever royalty is doing.

I live on an abandoned coal mine. When I was a child, we called the slag-heaps Mordor, and used to play there, jumping over the crevices. This photo is probably 1980s. Now it is enclosed, but covered in native trees and flowers!
