You've got me wondering if I could make a game where the point is to unravel a frustrating and over-designed UI as you desperately try to figure out what's going on.
Actually most of my designs look like that but could I do it on purpose and make it fun 🤔

If you're not familiar with the game, the robber moves around stealing resources from players and usually looks like this. Functional, but perhaps a tad uninspiring.

Still, I hope it's working for you! I used to be very anti social media too, but I can tolerate BlueSky for now and I'm enjoying chatting with a variety of people.

Where do you begin with deradicalising all those ICE agents, for instance? Mass trials? How do you bring all the deportees home? Do the records even exist to make it possible?

It's wild that we have to seriously consider the possibility that going to the US could mean you don't get to come back. I'm guessing my odds are good but I'm not touching those dice without a VERY good reason.

I've told my employer that if they want me at any kind of meeting or whatever, they can't host it in the US.
I'm not important enough in the hierarchy to actually sway them, but I don't think I'd be the only one not attending!

I love the OSR style of games, and got into it in a big way a few years back.

To be clear, the "talk about things like grownups" line refers to the tabloids, but I rather buried the lede on that so I realise you could read it as an insult 😅 no offence meant!

If we could talk about things like grownups in this country, it'd be nice to see Labour opening the dialogue about it. It doesn't even have to be stay out/rejoin, just acknowledging that public opinion has shifted and where do we go from here.
