Is anyone attempting to have real conversations with voters about healthcare? I’ve seen a little bit on X, where I hope some of you will commit to facts based posts that lack memes.

Today, I’m focusing on my neighborhood and what I can do here. Currently deployed locally with the Red Cross while tracking erratic air quality and awaiting next round of wind. #lafires

If you’re not the adult-coloring book type, you can catch a similar zen by contributing to mapping projects that help responders on the ground. @openstreetmap.bsky.social

Patients often don’t know what care they’re entitled to under state law. One survey found 86% of people with insurance don’t know which government agency to call for help.

Knowing how to navigate the system can make all the difference.

It would be interesting to see the data on those of us that are still “officially” there but disengaged. Average time spent now vs Pre-X. Not quite Zombie accounts, but nearly. It may be a bigger problem for X than outright departures.

Weather Report in Los Angeles: it’s going to rain between Monday and Tuesday or maybe Wednesday. Maybe 0.2 inches or maybe 2 inches they aren’t sure. But maybe prepare just in case- and it might not rain. 🙃

Looking at lists of banned books in recent decades, and am remembering the impact they had on me. I even remember the turtle in the Grapes of Wrath. It seemed disconnected from the story, at the time 🐢
