3/ DYK: on average, healthy humans fart more than 12 times a day? People fart more if they chew gum, suck on pen tops or do other activities that lead to increased air swallowing. 💨

Science is fun 🤩 and it can be so empowering to get to know and understand how your body works.

2/ I was thrilled to see a section on the brain-gut communication in the digestion chapter, as well as talk about “our body providing a home for billions of organisms that aren’t actually human.”

And of course the girls enjoyed the section called “fart facts” 💩😊
