About halfway through Season 1, so it's not in top tier status, yet, but it's so lovely. Love everyone in it. Glad they got to go out on their own terms - many shows don't get that opportunity.

Lou Grant (Season 1) (DVD): This landmark 1977 drama series takes the titular character from a comedy in Minneapolis to a drama in Los Angeles. Ed Asner is pitch perfect, and the subject matter was way ahead of its time. Outstanding.

Survivors (DVD): This landmark 1975 drama from British sci-fi legend, Terry Nation, is about a plague that started in a Chinese laboratory, reducing the Earth's population to the point where society must be built again from scratch. Patient and full of good characters. Prescient.

It’s extraordinary. And the use of the music from the car stereo (and indeed the entire diegetic sound situation) is masterfully done. Immersive and gorgeous.
