It does sound harsh, but all you have to do is look at polling to know that she's right. Rural whites *are* in a bubble. Their opinions *are* extreme and unrepresentative.
This is gonna sound harsh but you gotta stop talking to these hicks out in bumfuck towns. I know these people. They know less than nothing, it all comes from newsmax and facebook. They live in a fantasy world and everything they have is because of the cities they hate. They aren’t real Americans.
NYTimes has truly outdone itself with this latest in its "ask white guys in diner" genre. It took me awhile to really get what Helluva Boss was doing, but the extremely fun character designs kept me going. Especially Blitzo's face. The animators really know how to make him funny at a glance.

Think I'm approaching the end of my time with Monster Hunter Wilds until the expansion. My beefy PC runs it like a champ, but it's a shame that it apparently needs that kind of horsepower to show its best self.

A lot of people on Bluesky today who are very mad at @jamellebouie.net for saying that conservative Dems need an on-ramp to rein in ICE are going to be very mad again when conservative Dems in 2027 refuse to vote to abolish ICE.

I have a hard time believing @mikemignola.bsky.social is even aware of Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel, but the big overlap in demons and even some aesthetics (like the guns) makes me wonder what his version of some of these characters would look like

I don't know who needs to hear this, but the US hasn't really won a war in the traditional sense since WWII. Europe, if the Trump regime starts some shit with Greenland, you can almost assuredly beat us. Appeasement doesn't work, so you should be prepping now.

Metroid Prime 4 got me diving into the 2D Metroids. Still not beating the Prime games for me, but they've been very fun (especially Dread).

My issue is that everyone wants legislation and assumes it will just all work. It won’t. Too many vested interests. Too much need for AI to make it all work, which will scare people and make them question it more.
