Selon un médecin en Santé publique, Montréal a une grosse éclosion de norovirus que l'on connaît souvent comme étant la gastro.

Le lavage des mains pendant 20 s avec du savon est beaucoup plus efficace que le gel hydroalcoolique.

Flu Overview update.

A month ago we detected flu in less than 10% of samples.

In the most recent batch over 50% had FluA (H1N1 and/or H3N2) and 75% had FluC.

Numbers were low, but flu season is starting.
What should we expect this flu season?

Here’s a forecast from a wastewater perspective (because sh*t don’t lie)

I don't really get how social norms haven't shifted in that direction after the life-changing pandemic we all went through. It's not rude or insulting to try to avoid getting infected. It's sensible and protective of self and others.

It's important not to normalise spreading germs around. If someone is ill with respiratory symptoms encourage them to self-isolate and not attend in person any work or social events (if they can afford it)... or at the very least wear a mask. Haven't we learnt anything from the pandemic?

Perth researchers imaged 59 adults about 3 months after mild-to-moderate COVID-19 and found lingering inflammation in both lungs and arteries.

The more inflamed the lungs, the more inflamed the vessels, hinting at a link to long-term heart risk.
