Dulles sucks of course but would rather fly into or through it than almost every other top 10 airport in the US. I do prefer SFO. But LAX, Miami, Newark, ORD, ATL and DFW are all laughably worse in my experience for a myriad of reasons.

Here is the (not very) little man on Mount Marshall in Shenandoah National Park on Tuesday. We talked NBA on the way up the mountain (because of course we did.)

This is incredible. Even deeply red counties in Virginia shifted to the left.
For example, Bristol County was +39 Republican in 2024 and down to only +30 today.
The Democratic strongholds held/strengthened and Republican strongholds weakened across the board.

My first impression was that the drummer and bass player both swing their asses off.
So does the rest of the band! But for my taste, if the drummer and bass player don't swing, we have an uphill battle on our hands in keeping me occupied. Both are wonderful - separately and together!

The colors looked like someone used a totally over the top photo filter. And it had different sections that almost felt like movements of a symphony over about half an hour. Simply stunning.
I'm going to miss this place. Is it spring yet??
