I actually think you and I are not far off. We definitely both seem to agree that the intent was there but the execution could have been a lot better.

Without confirmation, how do we know this wasn’t originally created by someone using Photoshop? I do believe something like this is fairly easy with PS, aside from other ethical questions it raises..
