This sounds absolutely lovely. Yesterday I spent 3 hours on a train at a shared table seat where everyone around the table was coincidentally reading and it was really a pleasant shared experience, even if we didn't know each other and didn't discuss anything. www.nytimes.com/2023/12/19/b...
