One of my partners in my polycule refuses to mask up. Extremely hard to work with. I wish folx would mask, especially on flights!
Not masking disproportionately places the burden of pandemic mitigation on the shoulders of the high risk, disabled, immunocompromised, etc. It is selfish & entitled in the extreme. Be a decent person: mask up, ventilate, & - as a backup - vaccinate.
I’m seeing a lot of “if your mask works why do I need one” and want to tackle the reason one way masking isn’t enough.
I’m immunocompromised and wear a fitted N99 anytime I leave the house. It’s excellent personal protection.
