This thread is 10/10. I think of writi MN go as a muscle. I only wrote was a hobby but everytime I stop for a long period of time and try to start again it's hard and takes time to build that "strength" back. Enjoying the process is the most important part to me.
I'm not sure if it was the "stop gatekeeping writing skills(???)" Threads screenshot or if something else started "I don't have natural talent so I need AI" discourse, but as someone who was considered "naturally talented" in writing/the arts from childhood, can I just say a lot of that is nurture.

While I do adore me lore discussion and how Elpis is LITERALLY a reference to Utopia by Thomas More in a way that was just so masterfully well done that I will never get tired of talking about it.

I may delete this because it’s a bit spicy but it shouldn’t be lost on us that games being turned into TV is essentially harvesting the stories written by those who don’t have union representation or healthcare with WGA by those that do. Our stories are good enough for TV but the writers aren’t?
