Now I'm not saying Christmas arrived early.
But Prime just restored The Expanse.
And that is pretty joyful.

Extremely niche, but if you've ever played Pathfinder Kingmaker with the Varnhold's Lot expansion: for the first time I've played the entire game again (on hard mode). And now towards the very end, I have finally reached the point where the rage over the ending of that expansion is undone.

Once again, @lectrr.bsky.social nails it:

"Donetsk is negotiable...
But Europe thinks Russia should recede Washington..."

Even the Ka'ba-ye Zartosht inscription of the Persian (!) ruler Sapor I distinguishes between "Germanic and Gothic" auxiliaries of Roman Emperors he defeated. Even though the Goths spoke a Germanic language, that was never a criterion for identification (certainly not by themselves). Geography was.

"This period witnessed assaults on the empire’s borders by Germans and Persians, along with an acceleration of changes resulting from these attacks."

Watched this last night. Unlike the spat of recent music biopics - Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocket Man, Elvis... - this is a splendid film where you don't even need to be into the music (I do like the Boss though). Jeremy Allen White is fantastic. Delivers a few gut punches of the best kind. Recommended.
