Finished " children of blood and bones" I had so many reactions to the last chapters that I freaked out the dogs and made the husband laugh. Cancelled my next book to read plan, I need to start the second book!

Oftentimes, going to therapy, I felt like a spoiled brat who has it all complaining. I couldn't figure out "what's wrong with me". This book had so many answers and is really helping me understand myself and my reaction. If the cover resonates, read it!

This book is giving me a lot to think about. Definitely seeing how my childhood influenced a lot of my behaviors. Interestingly, I think coming to the US helped me heal. Learning to interact with people who have a different culture taught me to not take things personally.

I was supposed to go to a craft girl night and I have a cold so I end up being home alone. So this is a night for watercolor, beer, Disney music, reading and dog cuddles.

I am working from my Grandparents ' office today. It was not a space I could enter as a kid. Having that space cleaned up to allow me to work from there and being surrounded by my grandparents furnitures and objects makes me grateful and emotional.

I am reading The Let Them theory by @melrobbins.bsky.social and that book sees me. It also has a full chapter on why you should stop finding excuses to stay in that job... Definitely the right book, the right time.
