Hey Greg thank you. I also publish these articles on Medium if you prefer. I currently know nothing about how Substack operates but I will definitely look into it.

I already put it on!

That's a great way of putting it!

My argument (domestically) is that, since entropy will always increase in the end, my efforts to keep things clean are futile, especially if I aim to keep them pristine. What are your thoughts?

Love your art! My platform is called MOL-BIO (meaning of life and molecular biology). I've worked in bacteriology for around 12 years. I see prokaryotes as the more fundamental form of life with profound insights to impart into what life is and how it originates on Earth and elsewhere in the cosmos.

The Non-fiction books are:
Molecular Storms- Liam Graham. This book is about how physics can help us understand the phenomenon of life.

Being Mortal- Atul Gawande. It is a poignant confrontation with our own mortality and the biological realities of ageing.

This looks really interesting. Let us know what other books Gunter goes on to recommend!

Video editing and animation is not my forte (I'm a research scientist!) but because it is a competition I tried to pull out all the stops to make a "cool" video and it is a tribute to Carl Sagan and his wonderful way of seeing life within the context of the Universe 🧬💚

That's no problem. After reading Dawkins' deconstruction of the watchmaker/design argument, I thought it would be finished, given how comprehensive the take-down was. But let's see...

Hi Mark, yes I am just at the fine-tuning chapter and there use of the blind watchmaker. It sounds like you read the book too?

Thanks for your thoughts. And I totally understand your point. I am a molecular biologist so I am particularly interested in how they go about dealing with the origin of life which is a very popular "gap" to be exploited.

I think the argument you present here is very strong. I'll be looking closely to see whether they offer a rebuttal to this. I will be writing a full book review would I have permission to share your words? I would of course attribute you fully.

I am sure there will be some valuable insight for sure. Thanks for joining.
