Considering many ppl that would normally vote blue are being very vocal in the fact that they won't vote for Newsom, sounds like he is a very weak candidate imo...

Maybe your efforts are better spent making sure Newsom is not the candidate in 2028...

This is one of my main frustrations with liberals' arguments. When other groups leverage their power to get their policy goals that's just how the game is played. When progressives bargain with their votes to get their policy goals, we are portrayed as petulant children throwing tantrums

your vote has weight outside of election day. regardless of how you end up voting, until then you can bargain with it. the lesser evils are watching you, if you promise your vote for nothing you'll get nothing. say you wont vote for bad candidates. say you'll only vote for policies you like
