Aficionado of niche sports. Inveterate bookworm. Big fan of fermented things. Bearded scientific sort.
I'm sick of western pubs carrying water and munitions for that chekist gnome.

Also that most of the non-combloc countries have forgotten what the Soviets got up to and that the Russian state is no less meddlesome.

Hell, the damned Simpsons got it right.

I mean, if Hockey Canada gives Ryan the boot, we all know what happened the last time they got a new bench boss on the cusp of the Olympics.

And the last time USA won, we had a pandemic a month later.

Sweet boy.

Drive by wire is one of my biggest problems with modern cars. I want the feedback that direct linkage delivers.

But if you don't drive, you don't know.

It's cheaper is one of the stupidest concepts in modern engineering and design.

That's my kind of cookie.

It looks one step removed from the cowboy hat-shaped hard hats.

Plasticky as can be, no hint of even palm, let alone pelt.

Definitely.

Very much so. On top of everything, the shipbuilding program that the JMSDF has undertaken through various yards means that the designs they're putting out have been built time and again, with refinements along the way.

Other thing is, a 57 mm main gun versus a 127 mm main? I'd go the latter.

Mogami by far. Especially the FFM variant.

Awww, happy birthday to your awesome wife!

Minnesota, why?

Nope.

I've heard of scuppering yourself, but this'd be the equivalent of launching four torpedoes at a moored vessel.

Though I do believe there's a comment period in effect at the moment.
