we would estimate if you did this though you're only looking at about $20 + shipping to prove it out of you insisted on this, and that's entirely doable and in budget

performance will measure a little low on the test board) and hook it up to a dummy load and measure - however we would strongly advise this is overkill to an absurd degree and just trust the filter sim instead 2/2

the usual way this is done though is much more practical: copy the supply designs to a new PCB and design and lay out a small cheap board to characterise the supplies on (can be 2 or 4 layer, just keep in mind performance will be *better* on the final higher layer count board, so noise 1/2

ratio for the target voltage from the source (Vout/Vin for the ratio iwrc) 2/2

it'll all be harmonics of the switching frequency which are taken care of our to about 1GHz in that filter design to the point they'll be immeasurable - if you wanted to simulate this then emulate the controller as a shaped noise source or square wave source tuned to the nominal mark-space 1/2

the output filtering on them is fine..? they just need laying out and routing - the only other option you have for their outputs in the power levels you're working and with the noise specs you're demanding is drop the filters and hope for the best. Do not let your anxiety control you, love

the point of this post is to help you see where to direct your anger about this - it's not at yourself no matter how much the critic tries to tell you so, but rather at the critic itself or at the pharmacy and companies that failed you here
December 22, 2025 at 9:01 AM
be kind to yourself and acknowledge how much that shows they've been helping you, acknowledge that it's not your fault the pharmacy didn't do it's job on time because of a shortage and therefore also not your fault you aren't able to get focus due to your disability (ADHD is one!)

it honestly doesn't matter.. ability to get to it does. Any PO box already shields you from that potential

Thank you! The spiral is going to be the hardest square to do in the second half of the blanket too as with how we're doing things it'll need to be mirrored to fit nicely

crochet - re-learned recently and have embarked on a granny square blanket for ourself + a set of coasters for mum for christmas (by request)
