In media it's always extra 🙃 when someone thinks Canon X did a thing first and you have to go 'no, it's probably a homage to Canon Y, which came out 5 years before Canon X'. Some people are delighted to find out about Canon Y, but some can get pretty weird about their canon not being the specialest.
