I break my desk chair about once every four years, and I absolutely never see it coming until I am cascading to the floor.

Texas is not even in remote Playoff consideration. Its best claim is entirely a hypothetical.
Great, make a claim that no one can prove, Longhorns.

Folks, Miami is not getting into the Playoff over Notre Dame. Anyone telling you, "ND is out," is simply making loud noises to get your attention because they 1) have no genuine, sophisticated analysis to share and 2) think you are too dumb to notice.

Prove them wrong.

My driving Lane Kiffin thought is more about the conversation than about Lane.

Allow me to be the only one to say, this ACC title game could be a LOT of fun.

This is my "Naz Reid / Notre Dame to host a first-round Playoff game" @homefield.bsky.social bomber jacket.

Wolves back.

I should touch grass but wait there isnt any only snow

Final eight-wide of the season ...
November 29, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Obviously this is a basketball headline.
But it is even funnier when you remember LSU is the worst team in the country at finishing drives. Worse than Charlotte. Worse than UMass.
November 29, 2025 at 6:32 PM
Am I backing five road underdogs?
No, just four.
The fifth is Minnesota in the snow.
🔸Kentucky needs a sixth win vs. quitting Louisville
🔸Florida State needs a sixth win vs. quitting Florida
🔸Houston vs. Baylor's wretched rush defense
🔸PJ Fleck's last Ax?
🔸Yale to advance

Every so often, you have to lean into a bit on the live show, as well as in this post, and refuse to use the 13th letter of the alphabet while giving genuine analysis on Ohio State at Ann Arbor, as worrying as it is to trust the Buckeyes in this rivalry.
November 29, 2025 at 3:56 PM
Kent State notches a fifth win
Came a last-minute touchdown against Ball State from bowl eligibility and possibly the MAC title game.
Mark Carney should win Coach of The Year.

It is fun to think about Georgia Tech finally upsetting Georgia.
Alas, it won't be today.

The last week of the regular season means you have more information than ever. But it would be irresponsible to place bigger bets.
Instead, trust your edge.

There is only one way for Lane Kiffin to not leave a genuine title chance if he indeed takes the LSU job.
He needs to lose the Egg Bowl on Friday.

Selfish, foolish behavior compromising Mississippi's first genuine title chance in six decades.
Why do we play these games?
For those chances.
November 26, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Virginia is a 9.5-point favorite this weekend vs Virginia Tech.
SMU is a 13.5-point favorite at Cal.
If both win, they will meet for the ACC title game.

Which is why, folks, we are looking at SMU making the Playoff two years in a row.

Does it matter why?
November 25, 2025 at 4:55 PM
Four chances next weekend for an upset to push Notre Dame into hosting a first-round Playoff game.
Which one gets the job done? Does any?
November 23, 2025 at 8:34 PM
Louisiana, Texas State and Willie Fritz's dream opponent
November 23, 2025 at 4:54 PM
I want to believe in Georgia Tech upsetting Georgia this week. It would be a joy.
But when even Pitt runs on you ...
November 23, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Lane Kiffin is thinking about leaving an active and genuine chance at a championship.
Only one coach has ever done that.
You reallllly wanna follow in Brian Kelly's footsteps?
November 23, 2025 at 3:28 PM
Georgia Tech over Georgia next week, right?

Did not expect to find an eight-wide on SoCon Saturday, but here we are, led by Yale.
November 22, 2025 at 8:28 PM
The biggest game of the day?
The game with the most stakes?
A conference title and a Playoff berth on the line?
Give me the underdog Bulldogs.
November 22, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Good for Dave Aranda to get that 2026 certainty today.
But that writing was already on the wall.
... Now, should it have been?
