the angel alight with glory walking
among the shepherds half asleep in their watching.

There are in the same country

I am distressed that the Coalition could not allow time for the community to grief & focus on support for those affected by the Bondi massacre before embarking on gross politicisation of the tragedy - unseemly & demonstrating why they are not fit for office

I’m all for booing the PM at sporting events, but booing the PM at a memorial for a mass shooting is just gross.

It’s remarkable how rapidly empathy and sympathy can be lost.

Because of storms the carol signing was moved from the park to the church hall - it was a wonderful event bringing together people form the church & people from the wider community - a moment of shared celebration

ICE and CBP, among others, have violently retaliated against ICE Watch in part because the agencies correctly understand what many do not: Organized neighbors are mounting an effective defense, and an organized movement is a formidable adversary. My new feature: newrepublic.com/article/2042...

There is, "incompetence," level stupid, and then there is, "Oh my god, you must work for the Trump Administration," level stupid.
WOW: The DOJ has DELETED an image from its release of the Epstein files that shows photos of Trump in a drawer.

Yesterday, we noted that this image — file 468 — likely slipped through the cracks while officials were attempting to hide materials pertaining to Trump.

Now, it’s gone.

Every attempt to police disability accommodations to get rid of "fakers" ends up excluding the "genuinely disabled" people who need the accommodations. Every single time.
From attacking disabled ppl at universities to at the airport, the Wallstreet Journal is bent on eliminating the accommodations we rely on by saying most who request r swindlers & cheaters. This will result in ppl having to "prove" their disability, creating even more barriers. This has got to end.
