Both of them loved the freezing temps. Nothing would stop Claude from getting in the lake; I've seen ice form on his extra thick coat after getting into the lake.

Beth's Cafe. It's been around since 1957 here in Seattle. This beloved " greasy spoon" joint is famous for it's 12 egg omelette. A popular joint for the late night crowd, and the next day for those with the hangover.

I don't work with recipes very often. Really most pecan pie recipes are the same. I use about 2/3 cup frozen cranberries, 1/2 heaping cup of chips, the zest of a whole orange.

We still stop at the same places we did with them. For 6 years on Saturday road trips Lulu seldom sat, she just stared out the windshield. She had her favorite places, you could see your eyes widen with anticipation. Claude, he was usually sound asleep.

I never would have expected them to have lasted 15 and 1/2 years given their size. They deserved to be free.
