They are coming out. And there's like another dozen of them coming out soon. But I don't just want a dungeon crawler. I was *this specific* style of a dungeon crawler.

As far as those sort of editors go (2D to 3D projection) Build was absolutely the best, AND it was relatively easy to use.

I will not stand for this Army of Lovers slander!

Speaking of 3D Studio Max, that one Macromedia Director-driven promo CD-ROM of it, the one with awesome music, is *almost nearly* fully functional in ScummVM now. 😂

That was 3DS MAX thing too, but it's labels on top of labels on top of more labels. Text everywhere. It's like the worst of what Windows 95 spawned.

I remember getting a pirated copy of 3D Studio Max 2, and being sooo impressed by its easily accessible UI, so different from all the ancient CAD programs I've seen! It's really funny now, when 3DS MAX's old UI is probably near incomprehensible to people who are used to modern 3D modelling tools.

Those are some nice AY tunes, but a bit too aggressive for driving.

I'm sure he was most involved with Doom RPG and Orcs & Elves (where he gets a producer, story, and programming credits,) but he is credited on all of them.

At least there's a PC port now.

If you like that one, I recommend the others.

All five are very fun games that manage to do a lot with the concept while never getting complicated. All the writing is intentionally humorous. The focus is on encounters & simple puzzles. RPG mechanics are minimal. I can't recommend them enough, and honestly wish there were more of them.

J2ME versions of all the games can be played on your flip phone emulator of choice. They are still very cool, despite being slightly inferior to their counterparts from more capable platforms. At this moment it's the only way to play "Orcs & Elves II".

Orcs & Elves can be enjoyed on your favorite Nintendo DS emulator of choice.

Three of them have reverse engineered PC ports made from superior versions (BREW and iOS).
