Speaking of 3D Studio Max, that one Macromedia Director-driven promo CD-ROM of it, the one with awesome music, is *almost nearly* fully functional in ScummVM now. 😂

All five are very fun games that manage to do a lot with the concept while never getting complicated. All the writing is intentionally humorous. The focus is on encounters & simple puzzles. RPG mechanics are minimal. I can't recommend them enough, and honestly wish there were more of them.

J2ME versions of all the games can be played on your flip phone emulator of choice. They are still very cool, despite being slightly inferior to their counterparts from more capable platforms. At this moment it's the only way to play "Orcs & Elves II".

Orcs & Elves can be enjoyed on your favorite Nintendo DS emulator of choice.

I hate driving, and being in cars for a long time in general. But unfortunately that's a big part of suburban US living. So I have to entertain myself when I'm driving. What happens when I run out of audio books and podcasts? Something like this:

Seriously, there need to be more of these Dungeon Crawler-lite games than the five titles John Carmack produced.

Realized I missed the 33rd anniversary of the release of one of the best albums of the 90s, but hey, this stuff is always timely. 🤷‍♂️

Now *this* is freaking cool. NES and Game Boy music player Bleep!'s executable contains both Win32 and DOS programs. Here it is running in Windows 10, and then in DOSbox.

Decided to watch a video of someone beating Battletoads for the very first time. This bit made me LOL. 😂

I don't understand why everyone is so obsessed with 67 all of sudden. It's basically this, and shit like it has been happening forever. Is social media really that much of a booster?

An excerpt from a Mortal Kombat 3 FAQ from November of 1995, just a few weeks after the home ports of the game were released. Quite a few moves are still a mystery.
