When I last used Twitter the app kept swapping me off the Following tab without telling me and it wasn’t always obvious when it happened
And even in Following the replies were garbage
Using it became more of me fighting it to get what I wanted, rather than a tool that helped me. So I bailed

I know this is super obvious, but: The United States government threatening foreign students with disappearing them to prison camps in El Salvador because they exercised their constitutionally guaranteed right to freedom of speech and assembly is so incredibly dark, disgusting, and dangerous.

Honestly they deserve Tim Pool — they're the greatest collective disgrace to the profession of journalism that our country has ever produced. The last journalist worth her salt in that set was Helen Thomas, and she died a dozen years back. /1
