This and many other reasons pushed me into a state of paralysis in regard to working on “some kind of release” (in which channel anyway, for whom?). Not fishing for “aww, come on” or anything. Just thinking whatever anyone puts “out there” has to be a bit weirder in a good way.
I hate it but we’re entering a cat and mouse game for artists of all mediums, if you have any interest in distinguishing yourself from the slop machine you’re going to need to veer away from commercialist aesthetic. It’s not about outsmarting a machine, but embracing the humanity of experimentalism.
