This is excellent news. Boeing is an important contributor to the economy and defense. The new executive team is executing on its turnaround plan, both in terms of quality of work and in its financial performance. Avoids the prospect of a government bailout, which Trump would love.

I'm with you on businesses covering the bulk of any shortfall, but there's still a fair amount of spending (not education) that could be cut, too. Johnson needs to be willing to make a deal and I'm not sure he's capable of doing that.

I was in total war with my doctor, my insuror, and the hospital for months to get pre-approval a couple of years ago. Fortunately, it wasn't urgent but it *was* necessary and led to my getting proper treatment (which saved them a ton of money in the long term). It shouldn't be hard.
