She's right. Kamala Harris supported a $25k credit for 1st time homeowners, a middle class tax cut, the bipartisan immigration bill and proposed erasing medical debt for millions of people. America chose the convicted felon who attempted to undermine democracy and campaigned on tariffs and revenge.
MICHELLE OBAMA, on whether a woman can get elected president:

“.. sadly, we ain’t ready. That’s why I’m like: don’t even look at me about running ‘cause you all are lying. You’re not ready for a woman. We got a lot of growing up to do ..”

Cameron Crowe's memoir of his time as a teenage music journalist is an addictive read! Crowe recounts his time with Led Zeppelin, Allman Brothers, David Bowie, the Eagles and others (an early chapter featuring Kris Kristofferson is a personal favorite). Good luck not reading it all in one sitting!

in online corners like these I think people largely recognize how credulous, unprincipled opposition to "wokeness" functioned as lightly papered over defenses of impunity, but it's one of those drums people should probably start beating for normies
Something absolutely perfect about Larry Summers riffing about the scourge of woke cancel culture being unfair to predatory men in a friendly email to his pal JEFFREY EPSTEIN.

When the GOP isn't shutting down the government to kick millions of Americans off of their health insurance, they're covering up Trump's knowledge and participation in Epstein's crimes.

A recent KFF poll showed that 74% supported the extension of ACA tax credits. The majority of Americans blamed the GOP for the shutdown. Trump's approval rating is so far under water that James Cameron could make a documentary on it. They already knew who was "standing for them," Tim.

50,000 of Shaheen's constituents are now going to ask why she caved to the GOP - because that's how many in New Hampshire use the healthcare tax credits.
Shaheen: "When I talk to my constituents in New Hampshire, you know what they say to me? They say, 'Why can't you all just work together to address the problems that are facing this country?'"

With the American public backing the demand for a healthcare subsidies extension, 8 Dems have now agreed to a deal that settles for just a vote on subsidies. After 40+ days of this shit, it should end with the guarantee that people will still be able to afford healthcare next year.
Senators reach tentative deal to end the government shutdown
The deal, negotiated by a group of Democrats and GOP leaders, funds the government through Jan. 30. If it passes, it will still need to clear the House, which will likely take days.
