I am Emperor Comatose, kneel before me.
My four square only posses six dormers, all of which serve a purpose. This clearly will not do. I need a house with superfluous pointy roof parts, zero hand carved architectural elements, all black fixtures and all white everything else. Goals.

The ElephAAAAHHHHHHnt of Many Horrors. It has seen things. Because it committed those many atrocities.

If my dog could talk, I'm pretty sure he'd be voicing his displeasure with the sun for betraying him. He was very excited to go out for about 20 seconds into his walk earlier...when he realized it was -5℉ and made me carry him back home.

Gah, why is there so much AI slop?!? I just want to look at ridiculous/cute sewing and crafting projects made by actual human hands, not scuffed a.f. AI renderings of 'crochet' outfits with topography that cannot physically exist or models walking up stairs with their feet going through the treads.

Bread for the Bread God. And by Bread God, I mean Faraday: imposer of food tax on all things he wishes to consume. This includes unbaked bread, why haven't you finished baking it yet, human? Bake faster. (Peon.)

My dood was extra clingy after I dared leave him to run errands this afternoon. He usually just demands to sit behind me to receive scritches, but he pushed me to the corner of the chair so he could hunker down for some nap snuggles.

Banana Republic just doesn't feel quite right, trying to decide whether I'm calling it a Spray Tan Republic or a Sundowning Republic.

Apparently there was black ice in front of my trash can. I found out by falling on my ass. It do be slippy out.

I tried needle felting for the first time. Behold: Cakedthulhu, The Great Cheeked One. He somehow looks pretty okay for my neglecting to look up a tutorial on how to do the needle felting. Anyone have tips on how to make claws? His feet went from perfection to chaos when I attempted them.

This owl would like you to know that even though it is cooler and more wise than you can ever hope to be, it will still be you friend. At least I hope it wanted to be my friend.

This minion variant of a griffon is easily the best Halloween decoration I saw this evening.

A few more pictures from our safari tour at www.thewilds.org last weekend. I really should have remembered to bring my DSLR, camera phone lenses can only work so hard.

I played bobbin roulette and won. The stakes were low as I was just making sure my cotton lawn doesn't become cotton thread in the wash, but I'll take any sewing win I get.

I found my first spotted lanternfly nymph of the year in my garden today. The rage with which it was squished would probably be considered disproportionate relative to its size, but was fully warranted.

I love this unhinged cowboy opossum cross-stitch pattern from @ansitru.bsky.social with every fiber of my being. It speaks to my soul.

My patch of Lily of the Valley smells amazing every time I walk by; they get bonus points for having been my grandmother's favorite flower. 🌱
