maybe there are tids and bits around memories of people and small things they (i) managed to make, but truly there's no one but me that knows it all and remembers, and some of these pieces are already lost or are faded, as i am a different person than the me 5, 10, 15, 20 years ago

this year i hope that slowly starts to change
i've been thinking how much of a shame it is that my past selves haven't been able to fulfill that desire to make, to leave behind who they were and what they felt and how they saw the world

as much as art and self expression are important to me creative endeavors have always been a struggle, i could never enjoy the process, between the self judgement, comparison, feeling not good enough, the process becomes so extremely painful that of course I don't make or finish anything

i usually dont do new years resolutions, but this year i have thought about some themes, i would like more community, creating more things and allow myself to enjoy the process more

Really sorry to hear, we should move the start of the new year back to the Ides of March and the beginning of Spring, it won't change the state of affairs one - or the world - is in, but having birds chirping and nature waking up around you? I would bet on that doing something nice to brains
