Middle class existing home owners are extremely over represented in any deliberations about future housing they (and often local retirees) are the ones able to take off to show up at 2pm Tuesday afternoon city council meetings to speak out against new housing.

Assuming they used Hellfires the cost of each missile is about $150,000. All told, at least single digit millions per strike.

What do you think the average person pays in rent for the 3/2 in San Jose? If they were renting before and inherited a free and clear house, their housing costs are likely going down almost 50% even at 24K in taxes.

Should be $25-50 for the part, and it is usually a simple swap.
