On top of that, my shoulders were at the exact same level as the sculpted head rests which means they dig into my back. The air con is also unusually loud. But let's be real here, they are a HUGE improvement over the tired Meridians.

It's not all good news. If you're tall, you probably won't get along with the new standard class seats. Legroom is poor because there's nowhere to put your knees unless you, rather uncomfortably, squish them together the whole journey. Definite downgrade there!

The overhead racks are spacious, which is the complete opposite of the awful 222 racks, and the luggage racks at the end of the coach are huge as well. I also love the coach end screens - both above the vestibule and behind the last row of seats. Much better than the earlier 80X!
