Hi friends! If anyone is interested in abstract art and want to purchase some pieces, I can connect you to an artist, Camille Ver, who recently had her residency at the @vermontstudioctr.bsky.social Here are some of her pieces.

Woah. This was a trippy read. I need to think about what just happened here. One of the weirdest books I’ve read, but in a good way.

It looks like I’m playing Jengga with my books. I really need to reorganize my shelves to make room for my piles of still to be shelved books.

I watched Paint the Night with my twin nieces celebrating their 10th birthdays. The squeals and cheering from those two made it for me.

Our new Pope hates JD Vance. I like him already.

Stopped going to church long enough that the response for me will forever be “and also with you”.

I no longer go to church, but I’ve always been proud of being raised on Jesuit values. Pope Francis embodied those values through and through. He was liberal, as many of the Jesuits I’ve had the privilege of learning under, have always been. He truly was a man for others. AMDG+

I am either the best, or I make people run away… I’ll take that.

Baby pomegranates starting to bloom on our tree.😍

Fam checking in on me after the earthquake. My house now has an official name.🤣

My Monday so far.

Acquired the coveted city-exclusive acorn from the #HOPE_ON_THE_STAGE_TOUR_LA. I think that’s a brilliant merch idea. An exclusive acorn color with the city stitched on it for each tour stop. The little Hobi charm is a freebie from the girls I was sitting next to.

What do you mean Manny Jacinto also went to the J-Hope concert last night????? ???
April 8, 2025 at 4:35 AM
Loved this weekend hosting fam in our home and watching J-Hope’s shows together. Memories made and my house is now the official family hotel when BTS comes back on their world tour.😂

I love fresh flowers, but I love fresh eucalyptus even more.😍

There is a mystery in our house. Somebody put a minion among the Totoros in the guest bedroom. I just noticed it now so it’s been there for months. Nobody who’s stayed over has ‘fessed up to it yet.

Hello, we meet again.

Staying informed these days has been infuriating with “opinions” taking precedence over actual knowledge. Seeking to understand how and why we got here.

Visited my book nerd Disneyland yesterday, @vromansbookstore.bsky.social, and got out with this haul. Would have gotten more but had to practice some self-restraint with the upcoming LA Times Festival of Books.

A healing read to start the weekend after my last book. I have two moods when it comes to books these days - dystopian/searing, socio-political commentary lit & soft, healing lit. Opposite sides of the spectrum.😂
March 22, 2025 at 6:35 AM
Heading your way this weekend and I have a list.😂
March 18, 2025 at 9:10 PM
If people ask what books I read to figure out my personality then I might drive them away. These are mostly dystopian, speculative fic, political and weird lit. Might as well so I can read unbothered.🤓

I’ve never pulled a book so fast off the shelves until I saw this Murakami book at my local indie used bookstore. This was a small but fantastic haul.
