Played Tekken 8 online. Made me delete it from my PS5 and unsubbed from PSN (it was the only paid game I was playing online)
Horrific experience. Never doing that again. Just incredibly unfun. I’ll stick to Street Fighter.

I’ve been obsessed learning Tekken 8 lately. I’ve had the game for a long time but had barely played it. It’s really fun imo, though this is coming from a casual’s perspective. I know Season 2 did a lot of harm to it, I just can’t tell from my perspective,

I beat Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart again. Still love this game even in a 3rd playthrough. It’s not a perfect game by any means but it’s one of the best things to come out PlayStation in recent memory. Insomniac cooked here. Hope we don’t have to wait an eternity for the next one.

I beat Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart again. Still love this game even in a 3rd playthrough. It’s not a perfect game by any means but it’s one of the best things to come out PlayStation in recent memory. Insomniac cooked here. Hope we don’t have to wait an eternity for the next one.
Speaking of Dragon Quest, I beat the demo for VII reminagined. And yeah, this is peak. I really enjoyed my time with this. It went from a backlog game to one I need at launch. My only hope is that it’s not as absurdly long as the original so I can get to MHS3 in time after I beat it.

I have SF6 on PS5 now, an as cool as that version is I think I’ll be sticking to the Switch 2 version. I have so much more unlocked (outfit 2s, artwork, world tour progress) and purchased (colors, stages, outfit 4s) in that version that I don’t really feel like starting over.

I have SF6 on PS5 now, an as cool as that version is I think I’ll be sticking to the Switch 2 version. I have so much more unlocked (outfit 2s, artwork, world tour progress) and purchased (colors, stages, outfit 4s) in that version that I don’t really feel like starting over.
Even amidst all of the absurd amount of praise it gets, every time I see Expedition 33 I’m just not jiving with it. Not sure why, I think it may be the visuals, it’s way too busy imo. And I prefer stylized characters in RPGs instead of the realistic designs.

Forgive this console wars post but it’s absolutely insane to me that Microsoft can cancel games years into production, lay off thousands of employees, and mandate AI in their games and yet Nintendo is the villain in the industry because “Welcome Tour is $10” and “Pokemon has bad graphics”.

I’m continuing a playthrough of Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart I stated back in 2024, but now on my PS5. I have a 120hz monitor now, so the quality mode at 40fps feels way better than it has any right to.
The game itself is still just as impressive as it was back in 2021 as well. It’s phenomenal.

After nearly 8 years ai have finally retired my Nintendo Switch 1. It’s been unplugged from my TV and placed in the cabinet below along side its dock & extra controllers. My Switch 2 dock now sits in its place. (I use my brother’s Switch 2 dock in the game room since he only plays portable).

I know opinions on the game are all over the game, but after playing this game not long after finishing BotW, I can confirm I like this game more and that it’s one of my favorite games ever.

I have come to a final conclusion: I will be buying a PS5 instead.

I got a gaming headset for Christmas, so I have almost everything for a fire PC gaming setup:
-High refresh rate monitor at 1440p
-New Xbox controller
-Gaming headset
Only thing I’m missing… is a gaming PC. My laptop cannot run most of, if any, modern games so I’ll need to think about getting a PC.

I love Monster Hunter but if Capcom shows up with Wilds on Switch 2 for $70 I’m skipping it until a price drop bundle with its future expansion. Game is mid and you can get Rise + Sunbreak, a much, MUCH better game for like $10 right now.
