Since starting a new job I've only had time to tinker with Save Point occasionally. Now that I've got used to the new routine, I'm trying to get back and finish at least one or two assets/features every week.

Here's hoping I can have a polished demo ready in the next few months!

A normal enemy, One-Eyed Jack, to go with card and royalty theme which developed in the Castle Ruins. I hope to make another musical boss next, Killer Queen!

But first, something practical... adding a customizable idle/waste turn action for enemy movelists.

Here's the (mostly) finished version of Crimson King, the biggest sprite so far

I've been working on one the boss sprites for the "Castle Ruins" area in SAVE POINT.

I'm considering having a few frames of animation, like hovering spears, on major opponents.

What do you think?

Mission accomplished: I poisoned myself! 👍👍👍

I worked through a few ideas for displaying status effects, but I think this was the right solution. A thought bubble which rotates though active status effects

SAVE POINT combines an early 90's setting and aesthetic with classic RPG tropes to create unique, bite-sized adventures. The world has been overtaken by darkness and most of the protective wards called "Save Points" have been destroyed. Learn more at:
