"Oh my god you're trans? The testosterone must really be working because I couldn't tell :O" yes you could because you're my new doctor and it's in the medical journal that you're reading from but I appreciate you trying to prevent me from having any clockability neuroses

I love her. I feel like she's going to unintentionally know a whole lot about me real soon

It taught me the valuable art of fending off monogamy warriors coming for my life, I will say. I love divorce I love polyamory I love fucking around. Your fictional marriage is NOT valid and I will never support it <3

People were killing and flaying and biting me for saying this in 2019. And I was Correct.

You and blond men truly is a compellingly complicated saga

That at least has a sympathetic motivation in the context of modern politics even if it ends up being misguided in the context of the same. The drive towards claiming the standard 19th century husband template as a feminist icon is just. Baffling

Oh you guys mean the tacked-on ending in which Heathcliff and Cathy's mirrors get to be rewarded with normie marital happiness bc he's white and instead of being her doppelganger he hits her when she gets feral and mean. That's what you guys like about Wuthering Heights. Okay then

Saw a post earlier about how wholesome it was that Hareton and Cathy II in Wuthering Heights "broke the cycle" and it activated something similar in me. I think. Much solidarity

Only good show addition was him getting called on how he in fact concerns himself pretty much solely with what people think of him during what was IIRC his first scene

My stepmom's great. Very normie and yet very willing to tell me about how she wanted to be Boy George in the 80s. My dad is 2/2 on marrying "women" who should go on T mayhaps

If you mean Knights of Guinevere was actually really impressed by the restraint tbh. I've come to expect my wonderful animation projects with a side of like 20% dialogue that makes me wince but in this case it was only maybe 10%

Also "Long Lankin" where the heroine just fully offers up her daughter to a serial killer as a proposed trade for her and/or her son's life

And another, even broader tradition ("Skjøn Anna", "Fair Annie", etc) where she wants her human rapist's children dead but NOT her rapist who she's portrayed as wanting to stay in a relationship with. It's so fascinating to me how widespread this motif is! There are MANY other examples

There's a whole tradition of abduction ballads ("Agnete og Havmanden", "Hind Etin", etc) where the female protagonist either gleefully abandons her supernatural rapist's children or wants them dead

Communists have a higher opinion of historical liberalism than liberals do. You're supposed to be the ideological descendants of Robespierre and Paine! Fucking act like it!

I know WHY people are bothered by "trauma dumping". I simply don't have high (or... normal...) affective empathy like that. Makes me a good advice giver and also a really weird person.

Oh this is me. I mean I've done enough cognitive work about it that I'm no longer mystified and instead accept that this is a Me Thing but. Yeah this is me
