I wasn’t saying that AIPAC is lower on the list. I was just pointing out how easy it is to buy Hakeem Jeffries.

It’s to extreme and cost to much, but no one ever ask how much it cost to not have these things.

Once the middle class is priced out of their homes. It’s free real estate.

You’re a hero!

Oh yeah, by the way… Hakeem is not only bought by AIPAC. He is also bought by real estate lobby groups that support bills that make it harder for you to afford a house to live in.

Actually, yeah a lot mixed economies are proven to work pretty well.
November 25, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Go as hard as you can dude, just remember it won’t be easy Hakeem has so many people lobbying against you. If you can pull this off you’re forever the goat.
November 25, 2025 at 5:52 PM
We have to understand that Hakeem Jeffries has the power to ruin Mamdani’s entire political career through lobbies and special interest. So if we are gonna primary him we gotta do it by ourselves as voters and I think that the @socialists.nyc would appreciate us doing this.
November 25, 2025 at 5:49 PM
It‘s about minimizing risk. Mamdani argued that DSA should focus on achieving the affordability agenda that he and DSA had successfully campaigned on during the mayoral race, instead of focusing on launching a likely doomed primary campaign against the most powerful Democrat in the House.
DSA recommends against endorsing Ossé’s congressional bid
City Council Member Chi Ossé’s planned primary challenge to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is now on life support.

I’m just saying, Hakeem can make it very hard for Mamdani to push for affordable housing and many other things Mamdani wants to do. I’m not saying that Chi Osse’ has no chance of winning. Mamdani and the rest of the DSA are just being careful, I‘m sure in their heart of hearts they want him to win.
November 25, 2025 at 5:46 PM
The reason Mamdani didn‘t try to get rid of Hakeem Jeffries is Jeffries has accepted over $800,000 USD from real estate lobby groups many of which support policies that make housing harder to afford. Seeing as there is no legitimate candidate running against him this is the easier position to take.

Good question even if some plants were never intended to be built, fewer new permits strengthen the narrative that China is serious about the energy transition. Pair that with their massive push for EVs and it looks like they’re leading the world on clean energy which is a good thing for China.
November 25, 2025 at 1:13 PM
I mean the DSA tried to tell a lot of democrats and a lot of democrats were like ”Stop Dem Bashing.”
November 25, 2025 at 12:47 PM
This is good news for anyone who doesn’t know at one point they were planning on making one hundred new coal plants per year.
