I think - The reason Mamdani didn‘t try to get rid of Hakeem Jeffries is Jeffries has accepted over $800,000 USD from real estate lobby groups many of which support policies that make housing harder to afford. Seeing as there is no legitimate candidate running against him this is an easier position.

National Association of Realtors is quietly dumping tens of millions into lobbying to control how real estate works in america and NAR’s biggest priority seems to be its own bottom line. Meanwhile, Americans are dealing with housing affordability.
NAR spent more on lobbying than any other group in 2024
The association shelled out $86.3 million to influence election-year campaigns and housing-related initiatives, according to a report on political spending.

Marjorie Taylor Greene resigns from Congress, immediately leans harder into Palantir stock, and we’re all supposed to pretend this is normal behavior for someone who sat on Homeland Security. She leaves office as a private citizen with a stake in a company that makes its money stealing YOUR data.

You already paid for the product. Charging you extra just to unlock stuff that’s physically in it is corporate ransom. Companies call it innovation, but it’s basically buy the thing, then pay rent to actually use the thing.

We keep letting employers stalk us because somewhere along the way, people got tricked into thinking surveillance is productivity. Nobody voted for this. Nobody asked for their keystrokes to be logged or their faces scanned when they’re just trying to pay rent. Why do we allow this creepy behavior?

The federal government says we’re stepping in to DC to tear out your 2022 justice law, but don’t worry, we’ll leave some pieces. Repealing police and justice reform at a time like this when police and ice interaction has been becoming increasingly more dangerous than ever.

Congress just felt the existential threat of socialism was so urgent they needed a whole resolution to denounce it. You know, instead of passing actual laws. Somebody tell me why we need this bill again?

Equal work deserves equal pay.
Anything else is theft. Bosses that are exploiting people and people who want a permanent underclass they can pay pennies and dispose of after. tell you immigrants deserve less so they can justify underpaying them and then use that to drag everyone’s wages down.

Sanctions didn’t isolate Russia, they just shoved it into China’s arms. Trade between Russia and China has actually doubled since the Ukraine invasion. The worst part is you can ask them yourself by researching China's General Administration of Customs they are proud of it.

It’s funny how folks act shocked. The Lorax warned us: if you let corporations privatize the planet, Musk talks about Mars colonies you know the first thing they’ll privatize is the oxygen. Imagine paying for breathable air while a billionaire tells you it’s ‘freedom.’

Listen up, adventurers. Forget the trickle-down, someone else will fix it nonsense. Mutual aid guilds are what happens when ordinary people decide they’re done waiting for politicians to pretend they care. responsibility is distributed fairly among members.

Let’s bring back the concept of guilds!

Natural monopolies exist because once one company lays pipes under your streets, sidewalks, and bridges, nobody else can without turning the city into a war zone. So you’ve got water, pipes, electricity, internet cables the stuff everyone needs and then you’ve got a single company owning it all.

50 dollars works, barely. the fact we have to measure survival in dollars proves the system isn’t failing. it’s succeeding at hurting people.
October 31, 2025 at 7:46 AM
We call people ‘illegal’ while letting corporations break every rule imaginable. the only thing illegal is surviving in a system built for those in control.
First of all, no human is illegal. Secondly, states allow people to get driver’s licenses regardless of immigration status because it makes everyone safer. When this was on the ballot in MA, law enforcement backed it because it was such a clear public safety issue.
Kristi Noem: "We're pushing sanctuary states to stop issuing driver's licenses to people who are illegal aliens."

Every election politicians say ‘health care is a right.’ then nothing changes. people still die waiting for permission to be treated.
Americans are sick of skipping doctor’s appointments, rationing medicine & delaying lifesaving surgeries because health care is so expensive.
