I'm planning on transferring some of my photos to either canvas or metal.
Probably metal. There may be too much fading on the canvas, and I like the colours.
I believe it's time to hang my 'art' where people can jeer.

Good morning.

It was one of those nights.

-28° C at the Redneck Flats Intercounty Zeppelin Port.
A high of -26° may be seen.
Welcome to the jungle.

"It looks like another one of those long, cold nights, Ma. I think a nightcap is in order."
"Yes Pa, I could use a chloroform infusion."

🎵Memories
Like the corners up my behind.
Misty colored memories
of the way we were..🎵

This is how one of my brothers commemorated July 7, 2025.
My first.
The staff at City Hospital treated me like a king.
I wouldn't have expected that from people who look at dirty asses all day.

Good morning

A Minnie The Moocher puppy picture from April, 2022.
She looks so lost.
We worried that she was hurt as a pup.
She took forever to warm up to me.
I can think about scenarios, but maybe I'll let it lie.
In this home she is warm.
She's fed.
She is loved to bits.
And she's cuddled up to me right now.

And yet all I have retained in my Norwegian course is "ól, takk."
And I probably spelled that wrong.
December 5, 2025 at 1:06 AM
I used AI tonight.
It's not something I want to use, but I had to try it.

The Norwegian fisherman you see in the picture is me.
And he's much better looking than me.
At least A.I. got my eyes correct.

This morning's sunrise.
The star in the east.
I'm expecting three dudes on camels soon.
December 1, 2025 at 11:19 PM
Good morning.
*Sarcasm intended*

Thank you @colleenmr.bsky.social

You are number 500.
I have been stuck at 499 forever.😄

New book.
I'll lend it to you when I'm done with it.
(I will NEVER be done with it)

It was a dull sunrise this morning, but I had to try out the new phone camera.
I like the depth of the shot.

I stole this from James Fell's FB page.
I need to buy a couple of his books.

Ritz Crackers, and the soup is complete.
Delicious.
And like all bean dishes, it will be better tomorrow.
November 19, 2025 at 2:43 AM
The brandy is down my gullet.
The chaser is being enjoyed.
My nerves are hopefully being stroked.

A little apple, one that didn't make the grade, but now remains never silent but alone.
It may now be the reddest apple of them all.
Or perhaps it's rotten beneath its thin skin.
In which case I shall call it "Pierre."
Pee Pee for short.
Let's ruin a moment of Mother Nature's beauty with politics.

"The brown acid is not poison. It's just bad acid."

Interesting sky tonight.
This is the best my old S20 can do.
I'm sure y'all are going to be blowing my doors off with your dammed iPhones.
November 12, 2025 at 1:40 AM
Look closely.
I believe I have a "Pot Of Gold" thing happening in the photo.
You may need to be a certain age to understand.
(Look at the glass)

2/2
flush the toilets. (Though my main storage reservoir, the bathtub, seems to have a slow leak)
I hope I get a callback from a plumber soon.
As Ms Mitchell sang,
🎶you don't know what you got till it's gone🎶

And..
One bright spot
30 bottles of Amarone, bottled yesterday.
(Picture)
I need them now.

We had such an incredibly successful fish-growing season in the pond (without at all trying) that after bringing them inside during the fish rodeo, we had to "make room for fishies."
A thirty gallon aquarium to take the overflow from the larger model.
If only fixing the housing crisis was so simple

I'm sure many of you were able to get wonderful moon pictures last night.
Unfortunately, we had clouds.
Shooting east before 7 PM.
Shooting disappointment.
Better luck next time.

The queen.
She's under the weather today and taking comfort from the sun streaming in the living room window.
November 5, 2025 at 11:43 PM
I have never had a phone call identified with this before.
Not just this little notification, it was bold at the top of my phone screen when the call was incoming.
I will call this a good thing.

Sorry.
I forgot the alt text to the above post.

What do we have here?
A work of modern art?
Not quite.
They will be 'art' once they are full.

Today is wine bottle prep day.
Tomorrow we bottle.
In six (3) months time we drink.
