I just don’t like the thing where it’s a scripted routine, more or less, but you have to really sell it when you do the small talk, no winking at the audience or acknowledging the perfunctory nature of the exchange or else you’re a big ol sourpuss

At the same time, the only reason the sketchy hemp bill gray area stuff even got off the ground is because, no matter how good a job state level regulators do, it’s within the context of Congress refusing to take action at the federal level that recognizes state level legalization in any way

One of the benefits of legalization was supposed to be regulation but because our politicians are cowards we have this worst of both worlds gray area instead

The truth is that for a long time the price of a new game held steady in spite of inflation, and this inevitably wouldn’t last forever. But that doesn’t sufficiently explain some more predatory pricing moves, or the growing emphasis on things like DLCs and subscriptions and microtransactions.
