You are correct. I doubt it would popular now, as it was already not popular at all when I was a kid and it is not exactly the best dessert. I'd be real surprised if it made a come back! 😆

As a French Canadian, I feel like I *should* know this dessert, but I don't. I heard of it, I know of it, my mom knows it, has made it in the past, but it just wasn't a staple at my house. *shame*

And I would never call it Silicon Valley 2.0, because it could be governed by more liberal rules and not become the nearly lawless technocracy that original Silicon Valley has become. But rather, a version of a tech industry that works better for the people (not the few), that builds, not deplete.
