my village in* Sri Lanka

takes care of meals and essentials (like pads) in the village (and not just the church because that’s how things roll). I remember collecting money, dry rations and clothes in the village during the tsunami and wish I was there in person to take care of the place that I love.

Ne?? Same here! I had a ginormous mulberry bush in Sri Lanka. I’ve seen dried white mulberries here, but also mulberry plants for sale in the Netherlands. I had to sit on my hands to keep from buying one for the balcony.

M: Yes! They have colours! Mulberries are very juicy.

I realised later that he meant the mulberries stain his fingers red. I’m glad little K gets excited about his berries. I do too to be honest.
