It is *lunacy* for the ostensibly liberal opposition party to say we shouldn't limit any individual's wealth and power after watching a cadre of fascist billionaires systematically destroy this country. That's probably the single most important thing we *must* do!

stuff like this happens in all card games but yeah mtg is particularly bad about it and getting worse. one reason why sleeving is such a huge thing

and yeah the printing process for static decks is way different (and cheaper) than the booster packs, so not surprised they don't match

I don't think models today can actually make culturally relevant art, as they've taken a direction towards replacing google search more than anything experimental. AI users don't actually want their sycophant machine to be funny or interesting

Ignoring things where the ai part is emphasized, these have had cultural impact:

Italian Brainrot
BBL Drizzy
Bottomless Pit Supervisor
Puffy Jacket Pope

The only one where the ai part legitimately impressed me is Bottomless Pit Supervisor

- the set of combo attacks and special moves suggests a broader strategy in a clever and subtle way
- the horror theme helps you accept the unfamiliarity and the possibility of failing to understand what's going on

real big brain stuff!!

the reason the game works where most attempts at this blend fall short is down to three things:
- the day phase gives you familiarity and ownership over the space and your units, so you actually care about forming a strategy and don't just hack and slash

and none of this actually makes children safer. there's still bullshit all over steam!
