Fellow lawyers will recognize a court that is PISSED here. Divisional Court doesn't call decisions it is reviewing "nothing short of shocking" very often.

I got to see some beautiful things in St. John's today. I also got hailed on, twice, so a classic Newfoundland kind of day.

I was at Rome's Palazzo Massimo museum a few days ago, and saw these beautiful mosaic tesserae. They made me think of @guygavrielkay.bsky.social's Sarantine Mosaic and a mosaicist being moved to tears by the quality of some tesserae.

It is steadily more enraging that western media insists on treating a single missile launched at Tel Aviv, that hurt no one, as being equivalent to an Israeli barrage of hundreds of bombs dropped on Lebanon that killed hundreds of people, like this example from the Globe and Mail here in Canada.
