Today's emotional support spinning: IxChel's guanaco blend (Guanaco 60%, Mulga Silk 25%, Cashmere 12%, Angora Bunny 3%). Fountain pen for ~scale, not integral to the spinning process!

M5stack Cardputer v.1.1 as a handheld writerdeck (using VoidNoi's BadCard).
(I have wrecked hands & wrecked health, so v lightweight + physical buttons were desiderata for something I can use when stuck in bed. On a v bad day, I keep dropping my *phone* because it's too heavy.)

a.k.a. literally too damn cheap to spend $200+ USD (!) on a warping board when I already own a laundry rack.
I could do the trigonometry to get a specific warp length (especially with additional pegs etc) but frankly I'm too lazy and for my purposes it doesn't much matter.

Today's emotional support spinning WIP, IxChel's Viva Frida Churro Agave Blend (Navajo Churro Sheep 70%, Agave Cactus Fibres 20%, Cashmere 5%, Angora Bunny 5%). I don't know why I'm surprised this spins like ramie (although I'm not wet-spinning as I would with ramie).

M5stack Cardputer: world's cutest microcontroller rig, hoping to use for plain text handheld drafting on days I'm bedridden. Maybe also ESPForth? Onboard mic and speakers, can act as a voice. Could be fun to try coding a smol sampler/sequencer for it as a learning project!

I told my husband that the spinning wheel and looms (Saori WX60 floor loom, Clover Sakiori table loom) are the world's most overkill fidget devices and he's all "THEY MAKE YOU SO HAPPY PLZ CONTINUE :3"
